O65-38 i~ APPROPRIATIONS ORDINANCE OF THE CITY
OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA~ ADOPTING A
BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING
NOVEMBER 1~ 1965 AND ENDING OCTOBER 3i,
1966
~HqEREAS~ the CITY CHARTER of the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, requires
an appropriations ordinance be passed by the City Council of said
municipality each year, adopting a budget showing revenue of the city
from all sources and the estimated expenditv~es to the various purposes
for the ensuing fiscal year:
NOW, THEBEFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of the CITY OF
BOTNTON BEACH~ FLORIDA, as follows:
SECTION l: That the proposed budget for the ensuing fiscal year
previously prepared by the City Manager now on file in the City Hall
of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, be and the same is hereby adopted
for the fiscal year of said municipality beginning November l, 1965,
and ending October 31, 1966, pursuant to and in compliance with the provisic
of Section 28 and Section 8~ of the City Charter of the City of Boynton
Beach, Florida~ said budget being made a part hereof by reference~:
SECTION 2: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $956~189.00
to the General Fund for the payment of operating expenses and necessary
capital outlay for the city government pursuant to the terms of the above
budget ~
SECTION 3: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $31,050.00 to the
Interest and Sinking Fund for general debt service for the purpose of pay-
ing the interest due on the general obligation bonds of the city not ~bJect
statutery exemptions and for redeeming such bonds as they mature.
SECTION 4: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $21,563.00 to
the Interest and Sinking Fund for general debt service for the purpose of
paying the interest due on the general obligation bonds of the city
subject to statutory exemptions and for redeeming ~uch bonds as they
mature.
SECTION 5.: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $2~3,109.00
to the Water Utility Fund and Sewer Utility Fund for operatir~g expenses
and necessary capital outlay for the municipal water and sewer departments.
SECTION 6: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $555;601.00 to
the Interest and Sinking Fund of the combined municipal water and sewer
departments for the general debt service for the p~mrpose of paying interest
due on the bonds of said departments and for redeeming such bonds as they
mature, and for paymeht of outstanding developers' refunding agreements.
SECTION .7: That this ordinance shall become effective from and after its
passage in accordance with the Charter of the City of Boynton Beach,
Florida, in such case made and provided.
