of officers.
Mmv. V{s~d introduced the members of the Bo~d and then
self as acting chairm~. He then announced the opening of

~. Lucas made a motion to nominate M~. Foy Ward fop Chair-
man and it was seconded by P}, Rutter, MLn, Cousins made a
mo,_on that the nominations be closed and it was seconded
by ~, Ryder, The members voted and the vote was ~0 in
~'~w~ being Chairman,

~. Ryder made a motion to nominate }~. Walter B. Rutter for
Secretary and it was seconded by Mr. Lucas. The menders voted
anm the vote was 4-0 in favor of ~,~. Rutter oe~ng Secretary,
Mr. Ward thanked the members for their confidence in advance
and asked them to please bes~ ~=~h him aha be :oatient ~d
that he would do his best.

Board, M~. Cousins explained that the alternates come to
the meetings and wait to see if the members s~rive~ before
they sit on the Board, If all do ar~ive~ you may go home

~. Ward asked the members if they were in favor o~ contin-
uing the meetings at 5:00 PoM. The members reacted favor~
ably. ~. Rutter made a motion to continue the so.rd of
Adjus%ment Meetings being held at 5:00. ~. Cousins
seconded the motion. Motion carried 5-0. M~. Co'msins
added that the City Clerk should be notified to change
the time on the bulletin board.
In being appointed Secretary, M~. Rutter asked if he had to
pick up the information for the meetings. ~. Cousins
vised him that it was all mailed to the Secretary when the
notices were mailed to the members. ~. Ward suggested that
it may be advisable for the Secretary to read the notices at
t~e meeting and ~. Rutter agreed~ stating ~ ~
~ ~ ,~ to discuss.
It was ascertained there was no ~ur~n~r bu,=ness
