Motion carried 5-0. Parcel ~1 - Relief from 25 ft. rear setback requirement to 20'4" rear yard setback Lot 9, Velaire S/D Recorded in Plat Book 26, Page 131 Palm Beach County Records Address: 2 Velaire Drive Applicant: Sands Point Homes, Inc. Mr. Barrett stated that the variance requested should actually be 20'8~, Mr. Pagliarulo agreed and the correction was so Mr. Pagliarulo, Ft. Lauderda!e, represented Sands Foint Homes. He explained that plans for the house were drawn up for the property and it turned out that the house required a shorter setback than was anticipated. He is requesting this 4~4'~ to allow the house to fit on the property rather than go back and draw another set of plans. Several other homes in the immediate block have less than 25' setback. Mr. Pagliarulo further stated that his architect probably went by the deed restrictions which state a 20~ setback, rather than calling the Building Department. Mr. Hester read a letter from Hank Thompson stating he had no objection to the variance. No objectors were present. Mr. Lucas moved that the request be granted with the correction to 20~8'' setback, seconded by Mr. Ward. Motion carried 5-0. Variance granted. Mr. Ward moved to adjourn, seconded by Mr. Ampol.
