The reason for the variance is because the lot is too short for the regular model.

requested because the lot is shallow. The lot is on the waterway.

Parcel # 2 Relief ~om 30' setback requirement on the portion adjoining
R-2 zoned property to 15' setback Lots 17 & 18 Block E Hathaway
Park Recorded in Plat Book 13,.Page 17, Palm Beach County
Records
Address 1006 East Railroad Ave.
Applicant: Steel Form Inc.
The reason for the request is to build the building 15' South in order to obtain
parking.
Mr. Wagner represented Steel FO~m, Inc. He explained that this is East of the Railroad
track. It will be a CBS building.
Mr. Nolan Williams, 1105 S. E. 2nd Street stated that there is a traffic problem there.
He is not objecting to the setback but there is not enough parking space there and
something should be done about it. They try to park on 2nd Street which is only a
30' right-of-way and it is not wide enough. If the street was paved more, then there
would be room to park. It is becoming a hazard. He is not objecting to the variance
he is trying to improve the situation. It would be better for everyone if the street
was put through.
