Mr. Hester called the meeting to order at 5:30 P.M.~

Mr. Lucas moved that the minutes of September llth be accepted as written, seconded
by Mr. Cousins. Motion carried 5-0.
Parcel # 1 Relief from 25' rear setback requirement to 21.5 rear

The purpose of the variance is to build a screen porch even with the house. It was
.purchased from the original owner and had no idea it was nonconforming.
Mr. Jack Gundlack, 233 S. W. 8 Avenue represented Mrs.Kauffman and stated she Would
like to build a porch and it seems there is an encroachment.
Mr. Hester stated that he looked at this and it. is a matter of evening the house off.'
It does not change any present setbacks.
No objections were received.
Mr. Beane moved that the request be granted,, seconded by Mr. Ward.

Mr. Paul Herig represented Mi]nor Corporation. He stated that it is a circular
lot located on a cul-de-sac. No-consideration was tmken into the setback applied
to this particular lot. Milnor is trying to develop this area in a certain type
of house. We would like to keep our houses in conformity and have everything in a quality
nature.
Mr. Beane stated it would mess up the neighborhood to put in a little house.
Mr. Her. ia stated they feel they have an obligation to the balance of the neighborhood.
Mr. Beane moved that the. request be granted, s~conded by Mr. Cousins. Motixm carried
5-0.
No objections were received.
Parcel # 2 Continued-
Mr. Don Faulkner would like to get a variance on this 50' lot so that he cmn do something
other than just pay taxes on it. He has tried to buy proper~~ on one side whidh is
available but hashed no success. He has owned the property about two years.
Objections were received from Lewis and Viola Batta and Brian and Janet Skeels.
Mr. Ward moved that the variance be granted, secon~d by Mr. Beane. Motion carried
