Applicant: Edward M. Sutton
The applicant wishes to construct a 6' fence along the side of the house, the County
has already constructed a retaining wall along the side of the house. The fence is
so his children will have a safe yard to play and more privacy.
Mr. Sutton was present at the meeting. He stated the purpose for the variance is
for safetyfor his children and privacy due to traffic on Swinton Avenue~
The Board questioned the type of fence he wishes to build. Mr. Sutton stated that
it would be a blockade type fence about 6' high. It will onli go up to the front
of the building.
Mr. Beane stated that he went up and looked at it and it would not block the view of
traffic.
Mr. Ward moved that the variance be granted with thestipulation that the fence just
go up to the front of the house not the entire lot, seconded byMr. Beane. Motion
carried 5-0.
Mr. Rutter moved to adjourn, seconded by Mr. Lucas.
