Lucas Mr. W. Rutter Mr. R. Hueston- absent Mr. Robert Ness, Building Official Mr. Hester called the meeting to order at 5:30 P.M. Approvatofminutes Mr. Lucas moved that the Minutes of April 17, be adopted as rendered, seconded by Mr. C~us~ns Motion ~m~nLm~,~!v carried. W. 3 Avenue Applicant: Mr. Robert B. Woodruff and Mrs. Dellephene F. Woodruff ~lirs. Harrington, 1100 S. Federal Highway of BoyntonRealty represented Mr. and Mrs. Woodruff. She explainedthat the reason for theN request is that the property cannot be sold without a variance to allow a ~velling to be built. The total of the lots is 58.51 x 125. Mr. Ward questioned the right to sell the variance. Mr. Hester stated that no one would buy the lot knowing that you cannot build on it. If so~eone bought the lot and came up for a variance, ~hey would not get it because they have not owned the property long enough.- Mr. Ward asked if the Board can grant a variance just for the sale of the lot? Mr. Hester stated that it is the owner that is asking for the variance. Mr. Alfred Buscher, 428 N, W. 3rd Avenue objected to the request. The requirement is 60' lots. Why should he be granted a variance for a lot he cannot sell. Mr. Buscher has been approached several times to sell ~vo feet so thatthis lot can be built on. He objects to the variance being granted. It is only one and one/half feet less than the Board of Adjustment Meeting 5-1-72 requirement° Mr. Beane moved that the request be granted, seconded by Mr. Cousins. Motion carried 4-0. Mr. Ward abstained because he does not think the board can grant a variance for the sale of the property Mr. Ward moved to adjourn, seconded by Mr. Cousins. Meeting adjourned.
