Mr. Hester called the meeting to order at 5:30 P.M. This is the organizational
meeting of the Board of Adjustment.
The 1972 Board as appointed by Council is:
Mr. Robert Hueston
Mr. Robert Beane
Mr. Ezell Hester
Mr. Foy Ward
Mr. Frank G. Lueas
Alternates:
Mr. Walter B. Rutter
Mr. J. Lester Cousins
Mr. Robert Collier
Mr. William Yates
Mx. Hueston nominated Mr. Ezell Hester for Chairman, Mr. Foy Ward for Vice
Chairman and Mm. Robert Beane for Secretary: seconded by Mr. Robert Beane.
Motion carried 5-0.
Mr. Hueston mentioned that al.ternates cannot serve as any of these positions.
Also the new members should stop in the Building Department and pimk up a copy
of the Ordinance that the Board uses. The alternates only serve in the absence
of a regular member.
Changing the time of the meetings was disCUssed. The Board decided it was most
convenient to leave the meeting time at 5:30 P.M.
Alternates should try to attend all meetings, it is the only way they will learn
the duties of the Board of Adjustment.
Mr. Beane moved to adjourn, seconded by Mr. Hueston. Motion carried.
Meeting adjourned.
