The chairman, Mr. George Davis, because of possible interest in
the case to be heard withdrew and Mr. ~YilliamYates, Vice Chairman,
called the meeting to. order at 5:00 P.M. Mr. Hueston moved to
dispense with~the reading of the minutes of the previous meeting
and to accept same as submitted, Col. Wehrell seconded the motion
and it was carried unanimously.

Applicant: John H. Whittemore
Mr. John Whittemore spoke in favor of this setback, stating because
of hardship, he is requesting a 15' setback instead of 25' allowed
under the existing R-1AA zoning. He does not want to have to cut
back on his house plan anymore than possible. He also stated that
several other houses in the neighborhood have similar setbacks of
15' instead of 25'.
A letter was received from Mr.. ~Jm. McPhail opposing the variance
stating that it would not add to the sale of his vacant lot near
the above described property.
There were no objectors present in the audience.
After a short discussion, Mr. Swank made a motion that the appli-
cation of Mr. ~hittemore be accepted. ¥~. Hueston seconded and it
was Carriedunanimously.
