Public Hearing on the following application was called by Mr. Davis
with the above members present. Also present was the recording secretary,
Col. Wehretl, the alternate member who was not servingttoday and Mr. Kain~
City }~nager. No one else was present in the audience. No objections had
been received in writing by any member of the Board.
Variance in setback of screen enclosure of existing pool
at Lot 15, Coquina Gore, as recorded in Plat Book 24,
Page 14, Palm Beach County Records.

Mr. Davis explained that the applicant wanted to erect a screen enclosure
around a pool which already existed. The pool originally was not according to
required setbacks as it was within four feet of the property line. It was
pointed cut that the required setback for s~rimn%Ing pools in this particular
area was 8 feet. Mr. Swank moved that since there were no objectors that the
applicants request be granted. Mr. Thomas seconded. All Board members voted
AYE.

The City Mamager spoke briefly with the Board and offered any administra-
tive assistance his office could afford to assist the Board in their job. It
was de~ided that a representative of the Building Department and the City
Manager meet with the Board at the next advertisedmeeting and go over pro-
blems that have troubled the Board in the past.
