N. L. Doughty was present in the audience; he had,
however, disqualified himself from serving on the
Board, as he was the applicant in the request for
adjustment.
Davis called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m.
Subject of the meeting was as follows:
Parcel 1:
Lots 1 thru 8, Block 4, Boynton Heights,
according to the plat thereof on file in
the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit
Court Lu and for Palm Beach County, Florida,
recorded in Plat Book lO,"page 64.
Address: 128-1A0 N. W. 2nd Ave.
Request: Variance on rear set back lines.
Owner: M.L. Doughty
Ellis and Margaret Lamb, 208 1st St., Boynton Beach, Fla.,
presented themselves as objectors.
~. Doughty explained to the Board that due to the fact that
the property would loose frontage in the widening of 2nd Avenue
he was asking for a rear set back variance from the required 20 feet
to l0 feet on Lets i thru 8 inclusive in Block 4. He brought to the
Boards attention a similar request last year on property lying east
of his property, owned by ~. Stewart, noting that the variance on
that property was granted. Nr. Doughty further stated that the
added footage was needed so that he would be able to have the required
parking in the front of the building that he intended to build.
N~. Lamb asked several questions about the type of building that
was to be built. He made no strong objections to the variance.
~r. Yates moved that the vari~uce be granted.
