AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE PROVISIO'NS OF
CHAPTER 22 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY
REGULATING THE PRACTICE OF PLUMBING WITHIN THE
CITY LIMITS OF SAID MUNICIPALITY, AND FURTHER PRO-
VIDING FOR A SAVINGS CLAUSE, REPEALING PROVISIONS,
AUTHORITY TO CODIFY, PENALTY FOR VIOLATION THEREOF,
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
PREAMBLE
This Ordinance is deemed to be an emergency measur~
enacted for the immediate preservation of the public
peace, property, health and safety of the inhabitants o
the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, and for t~e
efficient daily operation of the Municipal -Pumbing Inspection
De partme hi.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Chapter 22 of the Codified Ordinances of the
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, is hereby amended by a
additional section thereto to be designated "Section 22-1A" and !~
"Section 22-1A. License required.
It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corpo~
to engage in the practice of plumbing as hereinabo
defined, within the municipal limits of the Ciiy of
Beach, Florida, unless and until they have obtainE

SECTION 4. Repealing Provisions: All Ordinances or par~s
of Ordinances in conflicl herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 5. Penally: Any person, firm or corporation
convicled of a violaiion of lhis Ordinance shall be punished by fine, not
exceeding $500.00, or imprisonment in lhe Municipal jail for a period not
exceeding 90 days, or both fine and imprisonmenl. ]Each day on which such
violation exists or conlinues shall be deemed a separale and distinct offense.
SECTION 6. Effeclive Dale: This Ordinance is deemed lo
be an emergency measure and shall take effecl immedialely.
