85-BBRESOLUTION NO. 85 ~ WHEREAS, the City of Boynton Beach, hereinafter referred to as the Grantee, is a county, city, special district, or government agency as defined in the Department of Natural Resources' administrative rules of Chapter 16C-50, Florida Administrative Code; and WHEREAS, the Grantee is responsible for aquatic plant control in waters within the area of its jurisdiction; and WHEREAS, the Grantee acknowledges the necessity of assigning a Project Administrator to serve as a liaison with the Department in routine matters and provide direct supervision and administration; and WHEREAS, the Grantee acknowledges the necessity of assigning a Project Financial Officer who is primarily responsible for maintaining the Grantee's financial and accounting records. NOW, THEREFORE, BE AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY O0UNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA: Section 1. That the waters to be managed for Aquatic Plant Control with the use of funds from the Grantee's aquatic plant control budget, which is submitted as partial fulfillment of the State Axtuatic Plant Control Funding Program application requirements and coincides with the Grantee's approved work plan, are accessible to the general public or are managed for flood prevention for public benefit. Section 2. That John Wildner is the Grantee's assigned Project Administrator who is knowledgeable of all provisions of the State Aquatic Plant Control Funding Program and Chapter 16C-50, Florida Administrative Code. Section 3. That Grady Swann is the Grantee's assigned Project Financial Officer who is knowledgeable of all financial and accounting requirsments of the State Aquatic Plant Control Funding Program and Chapter 16C-50, Florida Administrative Code. 1985.
