She stated she is unable to change the code. Officer Chevalier Bien-Aime said Ms. Paul was granted a previous extension. Ms. Zalman stated that the order stands. He added that Mr. Paul argued with him on the phone as well. He referenced timestamped photos he submitted to Ms. Zalman. He explained the foot traffic on his property based on the nearby bus stop, which lacks a bench. He suggested the property has had these issues for decades and this was not part of the original violation. Officer Karageorge clarified that the owner was cited for all bare areas and acknowledged Mr. Mauro addressed some areas that were more extensive. Ms. Zalman stated this hearing is only to determine the fine. Discussion continued about the sod and violation.
