R24-174 1 3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON 4 BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE INCREASE OF THE ANNUAL 5 EXPENDITURE FROM AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $150,000 TO AN 6 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $200,000 FOR PIGGYBACK AGREEMENT FOR 7 TEMPORARY LABOR SERVICES — SANITATION INDUSTRIAL AND DAY R LABOR WITH A&ASSOCIATES, INC.; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE;AND 9 FOR ALL OTHER PURPOSES. 10 11 WHEREAS, on August 1, 2023, the City Commission approved Resolution No. R23-096, 12 approving a Piggyback Agreement for Temporary Labor Services — Sanitation Industrial and Day 13 Labor with A &Associates, Inc.; and 14 WHEREAS, the parties entered into a Piggyback Agreement on August 1, 2023; and 15 WHEREAS, the City desires to increase the annual expenditure from an amount not to 16 exceed $150,000 to an amount not to exceed $200,000; and 17 WHEREAS, the City Commission, upon recommendation of staff, has deemed it to be in 18 the best interests of the citizens and residents of the City to approve an increase of the annual 19 expenditure from an amount not to exceed $150,000 to an amount not to exceed $200,000 for 20 Piggyback Agreement for Temporary Labor Services— Sanitation Industrial and Day Labor with A 21 &Associates, Inc. 22 23 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON 24 BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT: 25 SECTION 1. The foregoing "Whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as 26 being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution upon adoption. 27 SECTION 2. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, does hereby 28 approve an increase of the annual expenditure from an amount not to exceed $150,000 to an 29 amount not to exceed $200,000 for Piggyback Agreement for Temporary Labor Services - 30 Sanitation Industrial and Day Labor with A &Associates, Inc. 31 SECTION 3.
