A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, ADVISING THE BOARD
OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF PALM BEACH COUNTY
PURSUANT TO FLORIDA STATUTE 171.062 OF BOYNTON
BEACH'S INTENTION TO CHANGE THE LAND USE CLASSI-
FICATION FROM PALM BEACH COUNTY LOW TO MEDIUM
DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO BOYNTON BEACH LOW DENSITY
RESIDENTIAL AND TO REZONE FROM PALM BEACH COUNTY
RS (RESIDENTIAL SINGLE FAMILY) TO BOYNTON BEACH
PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT WITH A LAND USE IN-
TENSITY = 5.00, A P~RCEL OF LAND LOCATED IN THE
BOYNTON BEACH RESERVE ANNEXATION AREA.
WHEREAS, the. City of Boynton Beach has received a reGuest
for annexation from the Southern Senior Group as contract owners
of the following described property; and
SEE ATTACHED LEGAL DESCRIPTION (EXHIBIT "A")
WHEREAS, the City Council at its January 18, 1983,
regular meeting conducted a public hearing with respect to the
annexation; and
YKtEREAS, the City Council received a positive recommen-
dation from the City Planner, the Technical Review Board and the
Planning and Zoning Board, and as a part of the above mentioned
recommendation, it was determined that the proper future land
use classification for this property under the City's Land Use
Plan would be Low Density Residential and that the proper City
zoning classification would be Planned Unit Development with a
Land Use Intensity = 5.00; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Boynton Beach
is not by this action intending to increase or decrease the
density for this property as exhibited on the Palm Beach County
Comprehensive Plan Future Land Use Element; and
WHEREAS, this property is located in the Boynton Beach
Reserve Annexation Area as provided for in a Special Act of the
State Legislature; and
WHEREAS, th is property is contiguous to the City's
corporate limits and it is located in the path of urban develop-
ment; and
P~IEREAS, the City Council of the City of Boynton Beach

desires to advise the Board of County Commissioners of this
annexation and zoning action pursuant to Chapter 171.062, Florida
Statutes.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA., AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council hereby informs the
Board of County Commissioners of Palm Beach County of its inten-
tion to change the .land use classification, when annexed, of the
property described above as previously enumerated.
Section 2. That a certified copy of this Resolution is to
be sent to the Board of County Commissioners of Palm Beach County,
the County Administration and the County Director of Planning,
Zoning and Building.
