3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
4 BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING A CAPITAL APPROPRIATION
5 AMENDMENT FOR FISCAL YEAR 2024-2025, CIP BUDGET FOR
6 PROJECT NO. RP2416 FOR THE LITTLE LEAGUE PRIVACY WALL BY
7 UTILIZING $15,000 FROM THE FUND BALANCE, INCREASING THE
8 PARKS IMPROVEMENT FUND FROM $73,234 TO $88,234; AND FOR
9 ALL OTHER PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS, the Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Budget was adopted on September 23, 2024; and
12 WHEREAS, staff is requesting Commission approval to amend the Fiscal Year 2024-2025
13 budget as noted specifically on Exhibit A; and
14 WHEREAS, the City Commission, upon the recommendation of staff, has deemed it in the
15 best interests of the city's citizens and residents to approve a Capital Appropriation Amendment
16 for Fiscal Year 2024-2025, CIP Budget for Project No. RP2416 for the Little League Privacy Wall by
17 utilizing $15,000 from the Fund Balance, increasing the Parks Improvement Fund from $73,234 to
18 $88,234.

20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
21 BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
22 SECTION 1. The foregoing "Whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as
23 being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution upon adoption.
24 SECTION 2. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, does hereby
25 approve a Capital Appropriation Amendment for Fiscal Year 2024-2025, CIP Budget for Project
26 No. RP2416 for the Little League Privacy Wall by utilizing $15,000 from the Fund Balance,
27 increasing the Parks Improvement Fund from $73,234 to $88,234 as further detailed in Exhibit A,
28 attached hereto.
29 SECTION 3. This Resolution shall take effect in accordance with law.
