R25-058 2 3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF 4 BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE RENEWAL OF 5 INSURANCE POLICIES FOR FLOOD INSURANCE COVERAGE 6 WITH WRIGHT FLOOD FOR THE POLICIES WITH EFFECTIVE 7 DATES OF MARCH 6, 2025; AND FOR ALL OTHER PURPOSES. 8 9 WHEREAS, Wright Flood is the City's insurance provider for Flood insurance; and 10 WHEREAS, approval of this item will allow the City to continue coverage for another policy 11 year in addition to adding coverage to other City locations based upon the changes to the FEMA 12 Map Update; and 13 WHEREAS, the City Commission, upon the recommendation of staff, has deemed it in the 14 best interests of the city's citizens and residents to approve the renewal of Flood insurance 15 coverage with Wright Flood for policies effective March 6, 2025. 16 17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON s BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT: 1() SECTION 1. The foregoing "Whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as 20 being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution upon adoption. 21 SECTION 2. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, does hereby 22 approve the renewal of insurance policies for Flood insurance coverage with Wright Flood for the 23 policies with effective dates of March 6, 2025, as further described in Exhibit A, attached hereto. 24 SECTION 3. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, hereby 25 authorizes the Mayor to execute any ancillary documents as may be necessary to accomplish the 26 purpose of this Resolution. 27 SECTION 4.
