3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
4 BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING A CAPITAL APPROPRIATION
5 AMENDMENT FOR FISCAL YEAR 2024-2025 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT
6 BUDGET, WHICH WILL ADJUST BUDGETED APPROPRIATIONS AND
7 REVENUE SOURCES AND PROVIDE SPENDING AUTHORITY FOR THE
8 GALAXY PARK FIELD LIGHTING PROJECT IN THE AMOUNT OF
9 $567,482; AND FOR ALL OTHER PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS, the Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Budget was adopted on September 23, 2024; and
12 WHEREAS, staff is requesting Commission approval to amend the Fiscal Year 2024-2025
13 budget as noted specifically on Exhibit A; and
14 WHEREAS, the City Commission, upon the recommendation of staff, has deemed it in the
15 best interests of the city's citizens and residents to approve a Capital Appropriation Amendment
1n for Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Capital Improvement Budget, which will adjust budgeted appropriations
17 and revenue sources and provide spending authority for the Galaxy Park Field Lighting Project in
18 the amount of $567,482.

2() NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
21 BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
22 SECTION 1. The foregoing "Whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as
23 being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution upon adoption.
24 SECTION 2. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, does hereby
25 approve a Capital Appropriation Amendment for Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Capital Improvement
26 Budget, which will adjust budgeted appropriations and revenue sources and provide spending
27 authority for the Galaxy Park Field Lighting Project in the amount of $567,482, as further detailed
28 in Exhibit A, attached hereto.
29 SECTION 3. This Resolution shall take effect in accordance with law.
