3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
4 BEACH, FLORIDA, APPOINTING COMMISSIONER KELLEY AS A
5 REPRESENTATIVE TO THE COUNTYWIDE INTERGOVERNMENTAL
6 COORDINATION PROGRAM AND APPOINTING MAYOR SHELTON AS
7 ALTERNATE REPRESENTATIVE TO THE COUNTYWIDE
8 INTERGOVERNMENTAL COORDINATION PROGRAM; AND FOR ALL
9 OTHER PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS, the Countywide Intergovernmental Coordination Program has been in place
12 for several years under the auspices of two interlocal agreements that were signed by all
13 municipalities, the School Board, the Water Management District, and several special districts; and
1-1 WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, is entitled to
15 representation on the Countywide Intergovernmental Coordination Program; and
16 WHEREAS, the City Commission has considered the qualifications necessary for such
17 representation and wishes to bestow upon the following named individuals such right and honor
18 of service.

20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
21 BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
22 SECTION 1. The foregoing "Whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as
23 being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution upon adoption.
24 SECTION 2. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, does hereby
25 appoint Commissioner Kelley as a representative to the Countywide Intergovernmental
26 Coordination Program and appoints Mayor Shelton as an alternate representative to the
27 Countywide Intergovernmental Coordination Program.
28 SECTION 3. This Resolution shall take effect in accordance with law.
