3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
4 BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF TEN (10) UNITS BY
5 UTILIZING THE RATES OF THE FLORIDA SHERIFF'S ASSOCIATION
6 CONTRACTS FSA24-VEL32.0 AND FSA23-EQU21.0 AND THE CITY OF
7 TALLAHASSEE CONTRACT 5179-2025, FOR AN ESTIMATED AMOUNT
R OF $512,890, PLUS A 22% CONTINGENCY OF $112,836 FOR TOTAL
9 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $625,726, AND AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR
10 TO EXECUTE ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS TO EFFECTUATE THE
11 PURCHASES; AND FOR ALL OTHER PURPOSES.

13 WHEREAS, the Fleet Management & Mobility Division, in coordination with the
14 Procurement Division, recommends approval to utilize the rates of the following contracts for the
15 purchase of the vehicles and equipment approved and scheduled in the FY2024/2025 replacement
16 budget, as follows:
17 • Duval Ford: One (1) 2025 - Ford Bronco Sport SUV, for Public Works - Administration, by
18 utilizing the Florida Sheriff's Association Contract FSA24-VEL32.0, for a total amount of
19 $30,435.
20 • Alan Jay: Two (2) 2025 - Toyota RAV4 FWD LE SUV, two (2) 2025 - Chevy Equinox EV FWD
21 SUV, for Public Works — Fleet Management Vehicle Pool, and one (1) 2025 - Chevy
22 Silverado 1500 Pick Up, for Utilities — Engineering, by utilizing the City of Tallahassee
23 Contract 5179, for an estimated total amount of $185,455.
24 • Thompson Pump: Four (4) Thompson Pump Model 6JSCE-DCUST-2.8T-MC Trash Pump,
25 for Utilities — Pumping, by utilizing the Florida Sheriff's Association Contract FSA23-
26 EQU21.0, for an estimated total amount of $300,000; and
27 WHEREAS, the City Commission, upon the recommendation of staff, has deemed it in the
213 best interests of the city's citizens and residents to approve the purchase of ten (10) units by
29 utilizing the rates of the Florida Sheriff's Association Contracts FSA24-VEL32.0 and FSA23-EQU21.0
30 and the City of Tallahassee Contract 5179-2025, for an estimated amount of $512,890, plus a 22%
31 contingency of $112,836, for total amount not to exceed $625,726, and authorize the Mayor to
32 execute all necessary documents to effectuate the purchases.

34 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
35 BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
36 SECTION 1. The foregoing "Whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as
37 being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution upon adoption.
38 SECTION 2. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, does hereby
39 approve the purchase of ten (10) units by utilizing the rates of the Florida Sheriff's Association
40 Contracts FSA24-VEL32.0 and FSA23-EQU21.0 and the City of Tallahassee Contract 5179-2025, for
41 an estimated amount of $512,890, plus a 22% contingency of $112,836 for total amount not to
42 exceed $625,726, as further detailed in Exhibit A, attached hereto.
43 SECTION 3. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, hereby
44 authorizes the Mayor to execute any ancillary documents necessary to accomplish the purposes
45 of this Resolution.
46 SECTION 4. This Resolution shall take effect in accordance with law.
