A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
4 BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE FINAL RANKING FOR REQUEST
FOR PROPOSAL NO. PLDEV25-012R FOR PUBLIC ART MASTER PLAN
REVIEW (CONSULTANT) AS RECOMMENDED BY THE EVALUATION
7 COMMITTEE AND ALLOW NEGOTIATIONS TO BEGIN WITH THE TOP-
RANKED PROPOSER MACHINIC, LLC, D/B/A FUTURE FORMS, AND IF
9 NEGOTIATIONS FAIL TO CULMINATE INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE
10 TOP-RANKED PROPOSER, ENABLE STAFF TO TERMINATE
11 NEGOTIATIONS AND ALLOW NEGOTIATIONS TO BEGIN WITH THE
12 2ND-RANKED PROPOSER DESIGNING LOCAL LLC; AND FOR ALL
13 OTHER PURPOSES.

15 WHEREAS, an Art Master Plan is vital for the City of Boynton Beach as it strategically
16 integrates public art into the urban landscape, enhancing the City's identity as a vibrant, creative
17 seaside community, contributing to the City's vision of providing distinctive art experiences and
Is promoting a sustainable future; and
19 WHEREAS, to facilitate the process of developing a Public Art Master Plan, the Purchasing
20 Division worked with Planning and Development to develop a Request for Proposal ("REP"); and
2I WHEREAS, the City received five proposal submissions from the RFP; and
22 WHEREAS, an evaluation committee was comprised to review the submittals in
23 accordance with the criteria of the RFP; as a result of the meeting, the committee; shortlisted the
24 top two scoring proposal packages, requested and oral presentations, and subsequently ranked
25 Machinic, LLC as the top firm, while Designing Local, LLC was ranked second; and
26 WHEREAS, the City Commission, upon the recommendation of staff, has deemed it in the
27 best interests of the City's citizens and residents to approve the final ranking for Request for
28 Proposal No. PLDEV25-012R for Public Art Master Plan Review (Consultant) as recommended by
29 the evaluation committee and allow negotiations to begin with the top-ranked proposer Machinic,
30 LLC, d/b/a Future Forms, and if negotiations fail to culminate into an agreement with the top-
31 ranked proposer, enable staff to terminate negotiations and allow negotiations to begin with the
32 2nd-ranked proposer Designing Local, LLC.

34 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
35 BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
36 SECTION 1. The foregoing "Whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as
37 being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution upon adoption.
38 SECTION 2. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, does hereby
39 approve the final ranking for Request for Proposal No. PLDEV25-012R for Public Art Master Plan
40 Review (Consultant) as recommended by the evaluation committee and allow negotiations to
41 begin with the top-ranked proposer Machinic, LLC, d/b/a Future Forms, and if negotiations fail to
42 culminate into an agreement with the top-ranked proposer, enable staff to terminate negotiations
43 and allow negotiations to begin with the 2nd-ranked proposer Designing Local, LLC.
44 SECTION 3. This Resolution shall take effect in accordance with the law.
