A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
4 BEACH, FLORIDA, TO CORRECT A SCRIVENER'S ERROR IN EXHIBIT A
5 OF RESOLUTION NO. R25-121 RELATED TO THE INCREASED
6 APPROPRIATIONS IN THE SURTAX CAPITAL FUND (303);
7 AUTHORIZING THE REPLACEMENT OF EXHIBIT A TO REFLECT
8 AMENDING THE CIP 303 FUND, INCREASING THE BUDGET FROM
9 $375,000 TO $449,297, UTILIZING $74,297 OF THE FUND BALANCE;
10 AND FOR ALL OTHER PURPOSES.

12 WHEREAS, the City Commission had approved Resolution No. R25-121 to approve a
13 budget amendment for Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Capital Improvement Fund for the Fire Station #
14 EOC Re-Roofing, Waterproofing & Painting Project; and
15 WHEREAS, Resolution R25-121 contained a scrivener's error in Exhibit A, stating the
It, budget was increased from $375,000 to $447,297, utilizing $72,297 of the fund balance; and
17 WHEREAS, the correct Exhibit A of Resolution R25-121 should reflect an increase of the
18 budget from $375,000 to $449,297, utilizing $74,297 of the fund balance; and
19 WHEREAS, correcting the scrivener's error is necessary to fulfill the objectives and purpose
20 of Resolution R25-121.
21 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
22 BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
23 SECTION 1. The foregoing "Whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as
24 being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution upon adoption.
25 SECTION 2. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, does hereby
26 authorize the replacement of Exhibit A of R25-121 with the Exhibit A attached hereto to reflect
27 amending the CIP 303 Fund, increasing the budget from $375,000 to $449,297, utilizing $74,297
28 of the fund balance; and
29 SECTION 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately, in accordance with law.
