WHEREAS, residents of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida,
hundred persons visiting them throughout tke year have
to use commercial airline services to and from Palm Beach
~nternational Airport and other parts of the United States of
; and
WHEREAS, special fare rates in'~e amount~of $55.00
way betw£an~New York City and Miami and Fort Lauderdate have
)een established by commercial carriers; and
WHEREAS, the failure to include Palm Beach International
~ort in said special rate program amounts tc prejudicial
to the residents and visitors of the areas of Palm Beach
Martin County and St. Lucie County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE tT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH:
Section l: That formal objection to the exclusion of
Beach International Airport from the above special fare rate
hts is hereby interposed, and all commercial carriers involved
governmental officials exercising jurisdiction of the estab-
.ishment of such rates are hereby respectfully requested to re-
such program and to include Palm Beach International
~ort within the scope of said special fare rate schedule, as
as any other special fare rate schedules established for this
in the future. Further, that copy of this resolution be

Stone, The Civil Aeronautics Board, all commercial
