3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
4 BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE ADOPTED COMPREHENSIVE FEE
5 SCHEDULE FOR FISCAL YEAR 2024-2025, BY AMENDING THE FEE
6 SCHEDULE FOR THE RECREATION & PARKS DIVISION; AND FOR ALL
7 OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, on September 3, 2024, the City Commission approved Resolution No. R24-191
10 adopting the annual Comprehensive Fee Schedule for Fiscal Year 2024-2025; and
11 WHEREAS,the Parking Services Division desires to raise our citations/parking fees to meet
12 local standards and provide additional revenues to help cover rising operational and equipment
13 costs, as well as assist future parking upgrades, such as parking counters; and
14 WHEREAS, the City Commission, upon the recommendation of staff, has deemed it in the
15 best interests of the City's citizens and residents to amend the adopted Comprehensive Fee
16 Schedule for fiscal year 2024-2025, by amending the fee schedule for the Recreation & Parks
17 Division.

19 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
20 BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
21 SECTION 1. The foregoing "Whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as
22 being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution upon adoption.
23 SECTION 2. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, does hereby
24 amend the adopted Comprehensive Fee Schedule for fiscal year 2024-2025 by amending the Fee
25 Schedule for Recreation & Parks Division, as further detailed in Exhibit A, attached hereto.
26 SECTION 3. This Resolution shall take effect in accordance with the law.
