R25-261 1 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON 2 BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING PURCHASE ORDER NO. 251732 3 CHANGE ORDER INCREASING THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAYABLE FROM 4 $81,931.52 TO $139,222.10 FOR THE PURCHASE OF THREE LUCAS 5 CHEST COMPRESSION SYSTEMS FROM STRYKER MEDICAL PROCARE 6 SERVICES; AND FOR ALL OTHER PURPOSES. 7 8 9 WHEREAS, on March 18, 2025, the City Commission approved Resolution No. R25-066, 10 approving the purchase order with Stryker Medical ProCare Services, a sole-source vendor and 11 equipment manufacturer of Stryker Medical, to provide parts and equipment maintenance for 12 four years in the amount not to exceed $81,931.52; and 13 WHEREAS, the City's Fire Department desires to purchase three new Lucas Chest 14 Compression Systems to replace systems that are near the end of their service life in an amount 15 not to exceed $57,290.58; and 16 WHEREAS, the City Commission, upon the recommendation of staff, has deemed it in the 17 best interests of the City's citizens and residents to approve Purchase Order No. 251732 Change 18 Order increasing the total amount payable from $81,931.52 to $139,222.10 for the purchase of 19 three Lucas Chest Compression Systems from Stryker Medical ProCare Services. 20 21 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON 22 BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT: 23 SECTION 1. The foregoing "Whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as 24 being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution upon adoption. 25 SECTION 2. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, does hereby 26 approve Purchase Order No. 251732 Change Order increasing the total amount payable from 27 $81,931.52 to $139,222.10 for the purchase of three Lucas Chest Compression Systems from 28 Stryker Medical ProCare Services, as further detailed in attached Exhibit A. 29 SECTION 3. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, hereby 30 authorizes the Mayor to execute the Quote. The Mayor is further authorized to execute any 31 ancillary documents as may be necessary to accomplish the purpose of this Resolution. RESOLUTION NO. R25-261 32 SECTION 4. The Mayor-executed Quote shall be forwarded to Kori Grant to obtain 33 execution of the Quote by the Vendor. Kori Grant shall be responsible for ensuring that one fully 34 executed Quote is returned to the City, to be provided to the Office of the City Attorney for 35 forwarding to the City Clerk for retention as a public record. 36 SECTION 5.
