1 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
2 BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE INCREASE OF THE ANNUAL
3 EXPENDITURE FROM AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $200,000 TO AN
4 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $220,000 FOR PIGGYBACK AGREEMENT
5 FOR TEMPORARY LABOR SERVICES—SANITATION, INDUSTRIAL, AND
6 DAY LABOR WITH A & ASSOCIATES, INC.; AND FOR ALL OTHER
7 PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, on August 1, 2023, the City and A & Associates, Inc. ("Vendor") entered into a
11 Piggyback Agreement for Temporary Labor Services, Sanitation Industrial and Day Labor,
12 approved by Resolution No. R23-096; and
13 WHEREAS, on August 6, 2024, the City Commission approved Resolution No. R24-174,
14 increasing the annual expenditure from an amount not to exceed $150,000 to an amount not to
15 exceed $200,000; and
16 WHEREAS, the City Commission, upon the recommendation of staff, has deemed it in the
17 best interests of the City's citizens and residents to approve an increase of the annual expenditure
18 from an amount not to exceed $200,000 to an amount not to exceed $220,000 for Piggyback
19 Agreement for Temporary Labor Services — Sanitation Industrial and Day Labor with A &
20 Associates, Inc.

22 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
23 BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
24 SECTION 1. The foregoing "Whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as
25 being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution upon adoption.
26 SECTION 2. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, does hereby
27 approve an increase of the annual expenditure from an amount not to exceed $200,000 to an
28 amount not to exceed $220,000 for Piggyback Agreement for Temporary Labor Services -
29 Sanitation Industrial and Day Labor with A &Associates, Inc.
30 SECTION 3. This Resolution shall take effect in accordance with the law.
