A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE RENEWAL LETTER EXTENDING
THE INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND THE
4 BOYNTON BEACH CRA FOR FUNDING AN ON-DEMAND
TRANSPORTATION SERVICES PILOT PROGRAM FOR A ONE-YEAR
PERIOD; AND FOR ALL OTHER PURPOSES.
8 WHEREAS,on March 5, 2024, the Board of the Boynton Beach Community Redevelopment
') Agency ("BBCRA") approved the Interlocal Agreement Between the City of Boynton Beach ("City")
11i and the BBCRA for Funding an On-Demand Transportation Services Pilot Program ("Interlocal
I 1 Agreement"), pursuant to Resolution R24-041. The transportation services are provided by Circuit,
12 Inc., pursuant to its agreement with the BBCRA, dated January 18, 2024 ("Circuit Agreement"); and
13 WHEREAS, on February 11, 2025, the BBCRA Board approved Amendment No. 1 to the
14 Circuit Agreement, extending the term for one (1) year, or until March 5, 2026, with two (2)
15 additional one-year options to extend; and
16 WHEREAS, on February 18, 2025, the City Commission approved the First Amendment to
17 the Interlocal Agreement by Resolution R25-051, which includes the following extension provision:
18 "Extension. In the event the Circuit Agreement is extended pursuant to an option
19 to extend, this Interlocal Agreement shall be extended by the Mayor of the City
20 and the Board Chair of the CRA, on behalf of their respective entities. The Mayor
21 and Board Chair are hereby approved and authorized to execute extensions to the
22 Agreement to effectuate this paragraph."; and
23 WHEREAS, the BBCRA has exercised its first option to extend the Circuit Agreement, and
24 the term of the Circuit Agreement is now extended through March 5, 2027, under the same prices,
25 terms, and conditions; and
26 WHEREAS, accordingly, and pursuant to the authority granted in the First Amendment to
27 the Interlocal Agreement, the BBCRA and the City of Boynton Beach hereby extend the Interlocal
28 Agreement to March 5, 2027, unless the Interlocal Agreement is otherwise terminated in
29 accordance with its terms; and
30 WHEREAS, the City Commission, upon the recommendation of staff, has deemed it in the
31 best interests of the City's citizens and residents to approve the Renewal Letter to the First

32 Amendment to the Interlocal Agreement between the City and the BBCRA for funding an on-
33 demand transportation services pilot program, extending the Interlocal Agreement for a one-year
34 period.

36 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
37 BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
3S SECTION 1. The foregoing "Whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as
30 being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution upon adoption.
40 SECTION 2. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, does hereby
41 approve the Renewal Letter to the First Amendment to the Interlocal Agreement between the City
42 and the BBCRA for funding an on-demand transportation services pilot program, extending the
43 Interlocal Agreement for a one-year period (the "Renewal Letter"), in form and substance similar
44 to that attached as Exhibit A.
45 SECTION 3. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, hereby
40 authorizes the Mayor to execute the Renewal Letter. The Mayor is further authorized to execute
47 any ancillary documents required under the Agreement, First Amendment, or necessary to
48 accomplish the purposes of the Agreement and First Amendment, including any term extensions
49 as provided in the Agreement and First Amendment, provided such documents do not modify the
50 financial terms or material terms.
51 SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall retain the fully executed Renewal Letter as a public
52 record of the City. A copy of the fully executed Renewal Letter shall be provided to Gail Mootz to
53 forward to the BBCRA.
54 SECTION 5. This Resolution shall take effect in accordance with the law.

Re: Notice Of Extension of the Interlocal Agreement For Funding On-Demand Transportation
Services
On March 5, 2024, the Board of the Boynton Beach Community Redevelopment Agency
("BBCRA") approved the Interlocal Agreement Between the City of Boynton Beach and the
Boynton Beach Community Redevelopment Agency for Funding an On-Demand Transportation
Services Pilot Program ("Interlocal Agreement"), pursuant to Resolution R24-041. The
transportation services are provided by Circuit, Inc., pursuant to its agreement with the BBCRA,
dated January 18, 2024 ("Circuit Agreement").
On February 11, 2025, the BBCRA Board approved Amendment No. 1 to the Circuit Agreement,
extending the term for one (1) year, or until March 5, 2026, with two (2) additional one-year
options to extend. On February 18, 2025,the City Commission approved the First Amendment to
the Interlocal Agreement by Resolution R25-051, which includes the following extension

its terms.
