A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
FLORIDA, AMENDING PRICES FOR CEMETERY LOTS
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Section 6-3 of the Code of Ordinances of the City
of Boynton Beach, Florida, pertaining to cemeteries within said
municipality, provides that the City Council shall from time to
time, by resolution, fix the prices to be charged for the sale
of cemetery lots and for other purposes; and
WHEREAS, the Cemetery Board of the City of Boynton Beach,
has heretofore forwarded its recommendations to the City Council
relative alteration of said existing rates because of the incr~se
costs for operation of the cemetery;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1: The following prices are hereby established for
the sale of individual burial plots:
Sara Simms Memorial Gardens
(1)

$75.00 per lot - resident rate and/or those
owning real property within
the City
(2) $125.00 per lot - non-resident rate and/or
non-property owners
(3) $ 37.50 Infant plots (up to 4 years)
Boynton Beach Memorial Park and Boynton Beach Memorial
Park, Addition No.'l
(1) $175.00 per lot - resident rate and/or those
owning real property withfn
the City
(2) $300.00 per lot - non-resident rate and/or
non-property owners
(3) $ 37.50 Infant plots (up to 4 years)
Section 2: The following rates, fees and add.itional charges
hereby established for both municipally owned cemeteries:

(2) For Cremains $ 15.00
(3) Weekdays - 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. $ 55.00
(4) Saturday - 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon $ 80.00
(5) Saturday after 12:00 Noon, Sundays
and Holidays
$ 105.00
C. Disinterment
(1) $ 75.00 - per body
(2) $ 15.00 - cremains
D. Deed Transfer - $ 15.00
Section 3: All other charges and procedures presently
existing relative the operation of municipally owned cemeteries
within said City shall remain as now established.
