R26-106 RESOLUTION NO. R26-106 1 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON 2 BEACH, FLORIDA,APPROVING THE ADOPTION OF AMENDED EXHIBIT 3 A TO THE INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF BOYNTON 4 BEACH AND THE BOYNTON BEACH COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT 5 AGENCY FOR FUNDING CONSTRUCTION AND PROFESSIONAL 6 SERVICES;AND FOR ALL OTHER PURPOSES. 7 8 WHEREAS, the City of Boynton Beach, Florida ("City") and the City of Boynton Beach 9 Community Redevelopment Agency ("CRA") entered into an Interlocal Agreement for Funding 10 Construction and Professional Services, approved by Resolution No. R23-161 on November 7, 11 2023; and 12 WHEREAS, approval of this item will revise Exhibit A of the Interlocal Agreement to reflect 13 updated CRA funding allocations among approved FY2025-2026 capital projects. This revision is 14 consistent with the updated Interlocal Agreement approved by the Boynton Beach CRA Board on 15 June 10, 2026, and reflects the corresponding adjustments to project funding allocations for 16 FY2025-2026.This revision includes funding for the demolition of the W. Boynton Beach Boulevard 17 properties in the amount of $500,000. The proposed funding would be reallocated from existing 18 project allocations within Exhibit A, including $200,000 from the Centennial Park Improvement 19 Design & Construction project and $300,000 from the Historic Woman's Club of Boynton Beach 20 project. The addition of Neighborhood Signage to Exhibit A in the amount of $30,000. The 21 proposed funding of$30,000 would be reallocated from the Centennial Park Improvement Design 22 & Construction project within Exhibit A; and 23 WHEREAS, pursuant to section 4 of the Interlocal Agreement, Exhibit A to the Interlocal 24 Agreement may be updated at any time by the mutual consent of both parties and shall be 25 updated at least annually in a form mutually consented to by both parties. At such time as each 26 party adopts an identical Exhibit A in a duly noticed public meeting, the Agreement shall be 27 deemed amended such that the most recently adopted Exhibit A replaces the prior version of 28 Exhibit A of the Agreement without further action by the parties; and 29 WHEREAS, the City Commission, upon the recommendation of staff, has deemed it in the 30 best interests of the City's citizens and residents to approve the updated Exhibit A to the Interlocal 31 Agreement for Funding Construction and Professional Services with the City of Boynton Beach RESOLUTION NO. R26-106 32 Community Redevelopment Agency. 33 34 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON 35 BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT: 36 SECTION 1. The foregoing "Whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as 37 being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution upon adoption. 38 SECTION 2. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, does hereby 39 approve the updated Exhibit A to the Interlocal Agreement for Funding Construction and 40 Professional Services with the City of Boynton Beach Community Redevelopment Agency, in form 41 and substance similar to that attached as Exhibit A. 42 SECTION 3. The Interlocal Agreement with the updated Exhibit A shall be retained by 43 the City Clerk as a public record of the City. A copy of the Interlocal Agreement with the updated 44 Exhibit A shall be provided to the CRA. 45 SECTION 4.
