77-A RESOLUTION NO. 77-A
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
DESIGNATING AUTHORIZED INDIVIDUALS TO PREPARE, SIGN
AND COUNTERSIGN CHECKS, VOUCHERS AND WITHDRAWAL
SLIPS DRAWN ON CITY DEPOSITORIES.
WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, provides that
the City Treasurer shall prepare all checks, vouchers and withdrawal slips to be
drawn on the City depositories, and shall sign the same and present said check,
vouchers and withdrawals to the Mayor or Vice Mayor to be countersigned as pro-
vided herein or by ordinance of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council in regular session of August ?, 1961, did duly
pass an ordinance that the City Manager shall be authorized to countersign all
checks, vouchers and withdrawal slips of the City; and
WHEREAS, FRANK KOHL is the duly appointed City Manager; and
WHEREAS, JOSEPH F. ZACK is the duly elected Mayor and shall sign checks,
vouchers and withdrawal slips in the absence of the City Manager; and
WHEREAS, EMILY M. JACKSON, Vice Mayor, has been appointed to sign
checks, vouchers and withdrawal slips in the absence of the Mayor and the City
Manager; and
WHEREAS, KENNETH L. KRIBS has been appointed as City Finance Director
and authorized to countersign checks, vouchers and withdrawal slips of the City;
and
WHEREAS, B. J. ZOBEL is the duly appointed Treasurer; and
WHEREAS, ALMA COOK, Deputy Treasurer, has been appointed to prepare
and sign checks, vouchers and withdrawal slips in the absence of the Treasurer;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that a true copy of this Resolution be
sent to all Federal Savings and Loan Associations, commercial banks or other de-
positories wherein the City of Boynton Beach maintains municipal savings accounts,
checking accounts or other deposits.
