AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF BOYNTON, PALi~,~ BEACHT ~COD-NTY
FLORIDA, ~AKING IT UNL~J~UL FOR A~YZ PERSON, F=R~-~ OR
CORPORATION TO CONSTRUCT, BUILD OR iNSTALL A~£ OPEN OR
CLOSED GROINS OR JETTIES ALONG THE SH0~KE 0~ THE ~TLANTIC
OCEAN ~ITHIN SAID TOWN.
F~EREAS, the Board of Town Co~issioners of the
w ' ~ deems it necessary
of Boynton, in Palm Beach Covmty, ~!orm~za,
and advisable for the peace, health and safety of the in-
habitants of said Town and the geners[l welfare thereof,
that the constr, uction of open or closed groins or.~ jetties
along the shore of the Atlantic Ocean within said Town be
prohibited,
NOW Ti~REFORE BE iT 0RDAII~D, by the Board of Town
Co~muissioners of the Town of Boynton, Palm Beach County,
Florida, that it-shall be unlawful for any-person, firm
or corporation to construct, build or install any open
or closed groins or jetties along the shore of the Atlantic
Ocean within said Town.
The above mud foregoing Ordinance was read in full
for the first time at a Regular ~/~eeting of the Board of
To%vn Cor~aissioners, held January 6, 1931~ and was finally
adopted on its final reading at a Regular it~eeting of the
Board of Town Co~nnissioners held on the 20th day of january
i931 ~d a copy hereof posted at the door of the To~ Hall.
