TREASURER
Be It Ordained by the Town Commission of the Town
of Boynton, Florida :-
SECTION i. That the Town Con, nisei on shall de-
signate some person who shall receive all the public
monies due the Totem of Boynton, Florida, from the Tax
Collector, Clerk or any ~ther person ~wing the Town
of Bo:~ton, Florida.
SECTION 2. Ail public monies received by the
Treasurer shall be deposited in the name of the To~a
of Boynton in a Bank or Banks to be designated by
the To~n Commission.
SECTION 3. Ail public monies shall be disbn~sed
only on check to be signed by the Treasurer., then
countersigned by a majority of the Town Commissioners.
SECTION 4. Ail monies derived from the sales of
~%unicipai Bonds shall be received by the Treasurer
and kept by him or her on deposit in a special fund
i= the name of the To~'~m of Bo~mton, in a Bank or
Banks to be designated by the To~ga Commission and
shall be disbursed only upon resolution and order
of the Totem Com~nission upon check or draft to be
signed by the Treasurer and countersigned by a
majority of the Town Commissioners.
SECTION 5. Before entering upon his or her
duties as Treasurer, he or she shall give bond ~th two
or more sufficient securities or ~with an approved Surety
Company as surety equal to the largest amomnt of money
that may come into his or her hands at amy t ime, such
bond to be approved by the Town Commission and to be
renewed and approved annually.
SECTION 6. The duties of the Treasurer shall b~
as defined in the Char6er~of the Town of Boynton,
~lorida, and in the Town of Boy. ton Ordinance #1!,
entitled "General Revenue" and other Ordinances or
reso!~tio~s of the Town of Boynton,-Florida.
SECTION V. Ail Ordinances or parts of Ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
The above 0rdina~ce ~o. V9, having been read in
full at a meeting of the Town Commission of the
of Boynton, Florida, held on the 26th day of November,
A. D. 19~6, was duly adopted and approved at a Regular
~eetimg of said Commission held on the Vth day of
December, A. D. 1926, and a cop~ thereof posted at
the front door of the Town Hall of the Town of Boynton,
Florida, on the 8th day of December, A. D. 1926.
