~EREAS, the Town Commission of the Tovm of
Boynton, in Palm Beach County, Florida, has hereto-
fore~ under Ordinance ~3t, provided for the issuance
of general bonds of said Town in the sum of ~85,000.00;
and under the provisions of Ordinance f~46 of said Town,
provided for the issuance of general bonds in the ~um
o£ f'~100~000.00; and under resolution of said Town
Commission passed and adopted on the ~0th day of
July, i926 providing for the issuance of improve-
ment bonds in the sum. of ~85,000.00; and such Tov~a
Commission did, by resolution bearing date o£ September
21~ i9~6, provide for the issuance of street improve-
ment bonds in the aggregate stem of ~350,000.00;
NOW THE.~EFORE, BE iT ORDAINED by the Town
Commission of tlae Town of Boynton, in Pain Beach
-County, Florida:
Section 1o That the Town Commission of the
Town of Boynton, in Palm Beach County, Florida,
deems it necessary, advisable and to the b est in-
terests of the said Town, the inhabitants, resi-
dents and tax payers thereof, that there be, and
there hereby is, established and created a Sinking
Fund and assessment for the purpose of meeting and
discharging the principal and interests of bond
heretofore issued by the said Town Commission under
and by authority of Ordinance 331 of such Town,
providing for the issuance of general bonds of
said Town in the aggregate sum of ~85,000o00; under
Ordinance :~46 of said Town, providing for the
issuance of bonds in the aggregate sum of ~}t00,000o00;
under resolution of the Town Commission of the Town
of Boynton bearing date of July 20, 1926, providing
for the issuance of improvement bonds in the aggre.
gate sum of ~85,000.00; and under the provisions of
resolution of said Town Commission bearing date of
September 21, 1926, providing for the issuance of
street improvement bonds in the aggregate sum of
~350,000.00 ·
Section 8. BE IT FO'RTHER OPd)Ai~D that there
shall be levied, assessed and collected in each year
while said bonds provided for and issued under Ordi-
nance ~3'1 of the T~n of Boynton aforesaid, providing
for the issuance of general improvement bonds in the
aggregate sum of ~85,000.00, or any of them, are out-
standing and unpaid, and ~t the same time and in the
same manner as other taxes are levied, assessed and
collected, a special tax in addition to all other
taxes levied upon all the taxable property, both
real and personal,-within the said Town sufficient
to realize a sum which shall be sufficient to meet
and discharge the interest on said bonds as they
severally become due; and also a sufficient amount
to provide for and maintain a Sinking Fund for the
payment of the principal of said bonds at maturity,
that is, that there shall be, and hereby is, levied,
assessed anal shall be collected upon all of the
taxable property, both real and oersmaal, within
such Town of Boynton for the purposes aforesaid and

Section 3. BE IT _W~JRTH~ 0RDAi~irED that there
shall be levied, assessed amd collected in each
year while said bonds provided for and issued under
Ordinance #26 of the Tovm' of Boynton aofresaid, pro-
vlding for the issuance of general bonds in the sum
of ~I00,000.00, or any of ~aem, are outstanding and
~npa'id, smd at the same time and in the smme manner
as other taxes are levied, assessed and coliected,
a special tax in addition to all other taxes levied
upon ail the taxable property, both real and personal,

charge the interest on said bonds as they severally

Section 4. BE IT FURTHER ORDAIi~ED that there
shall be levied, assessed and collected in each
year while said bonds provided for and issued under
resolution of the Town Commission of the Town of
Boynton bearing date of July 20, 19~8, providing
for the issuance of improvement bonds in 'the aggre-
gate sum of $8o,000.00, or any of them, are out-
standing and unpaid, and at the same time and in
the same manner as other taxes are levied, assessed
and collected, a special tax in addition to all
other taxes levied, assessed and collected, a spe-
cial tax in addition to all other~.taxes levied upon
all the taxable property, both real and personal,
within the said Town sufficient to realize a sum
which shall be sufficient to meet and discharge
the interest on said bonds as they severally be-
come due; and also a sufficient amount to provide
for and maintain a Sinking Fund for the payment of
the principal of said bonds at maturity, that is,
that there shall be, and hereby is, levied, assessed
and shall be collected upon all of the taxable pro-
perty both real and personal, within such Town of
Boynton for the purposes aforesaid and during the
years specified, a tax as follows, to-wit:

Section 5. BE IT ~GRTHER ORDAINED that there
shall be levied, assessed and collected in each year
while said bonds provided for and issued under the
provisions of resolution of said Town Commissi on bear-
ing date of September 21, 1926, providing for the
issuance of street improvemen.t bonds in the aggre-
gate sum of ~350,000.00, or any of them, are cut-
standing and unpaid, and at the same time and in
the same manner as other taxes are levied, assessed
and collected, a special tax in addition to all
other taxes levied upon all the taxable property,
both real and personal, within the said Town ~uffi-
cient to realize a sum which shall be sufficient to
meet and discharge the interest on said bonds as
they Severally become due; and also a sufficient
amount to provide for and maintain a Sinking Fund
for the pay~ment of the principal of said bonds at
maturity, that is, that there shall be, and hereby
is, levied, assessed and shall be collected upon
all of the taxable property, both real and personal,
within such Town of Boynton for the purposes afore-
said and during the years specified, a tax as

Section 6. BE IT ~WfRTh~ER ORDAINED that such
monies and funds collected by the said Town of
Boynton in pa'yment of assessments or to apply upon
such assessments as have heretofore been made as
against the property benefitted and abutting upon
the improvements and upon which such special improve-
ment bonds so issued under the resolutions of the
Town Commis~ on bearing date of July 20, 19~6 and
September 21, 1926, as aforesaid, are predicated,
shall be, by such Town, deposited and carried in
such Sinking Fund herein provided for the pa~nent
of interest and principal upon such special improve-
ment bonds; and shall be deducted from the subse-
quent years schedule of the tax to be levied as
hereinbefore provided.
Section V. BE iT FUR~EER ORDAINED that this
ordinance, making a tax levy, is passed and adopted
at this the meeting at which it was introduced and
shall become effective immediately after its
passage and adoption.
The above Ordinance No. V9, having been read
in full at a meeting of the Town Commission of the
Town of Boynton, Florida, held on the day of
A.D. 1927, and a copy thereof posted
at the front door o£ the Tov~ Hall of the Town of
Boynton, Florida, on the day of
A. D. 1927.
