The City Commission hereby adopts the findings and recommendation of the Planning and Development Board, which Board found as follows: OR THIS MATTER came on to be heard before the City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida on the date of hearing stated above. According to the proposed building dimensions, the collective area of all X walls signs cannot exceed 72 square feet (Chapter 21, Article IV, Section 2.C.). Provide dimensions for all three (3) wall signs (in tabular format) to confirm that all three (3) signs will comply with this requirement. Include the dimensions of the "bumper" / "clock" as a component of the wall signage area. 7. On the proposed bumper / clock, eliminate the "MC" watermark X otherwise, it will be classified as a non-word depicti°n and would be limited to 20% of the sign erected (Chapter 9, Section 10.1.4.). 8. The detail of the outdoor freestanding lighting structure shown on the X photometric plan must match the Grove Plaza Master Plan design guidelines. 9. The monument sign may be single or double-face and shall be made of X stucco/masonry construction colored either white or off-white as required by the Grove Plaza Design Guidelines (August 1998). On the detail, provide the correct height and colors so that it complies with the Design Guidelines (1998). Clearly identify the site address at the top of the monument sign. 10. The menu board sign shall be an exterior single-face sign with the X illustrated face area not to exceed 25 square feet. The top of the sign cannot exceed five (5) feet above groUnd level at the base of the sign (Chapter 21, Article IV, Section 2.D.). 11. All directional signs shall not exceed four (4) square feet in area, nor five X (5) feet in height with a limit of four (4) signs per lot, located at points of COA 06/26/02 3 DEPARTMENTS INCLUDE REJECT parking lot ingress and egress (Chapter 21, Article IV, Section 2.F.). ! 2. If outdoor speakers are proposed, staff recommends locating and directing X ., the sound in sucha way so that it does'not create a nuisance to the residential properties to the south. 13. Staff recommends limiting the evening hour of operation to 6:00 p.m. X 14. Staff recommends placing an additional shade tree in the grassy area X behind the proposed monument sign. 15. Because this is an auto-intensive use, in the north landscape buffer X adjacent to Hypoluxo Road, staff recommends either replacing the two (2) Washingtonia palm trees (in between the Southern Red Cedar trees) with two (2) shade trees OR placing an additional shade tree near the two (2) Washingtonia palm trees.
