EAB Meeting Minutes

Chairperson Agee called the meeting to order at 9 am and stated the purpose of the
meeting. This meeting is to serve as the planning session for the next years' agenda, and
will be in lieu of the July meeting.
Judith Braswell had agreed to be the facilitator for this planning session.
She announced the agenda for the planning session as follows:
1. Discuss the goals of the EAB within the confines of the Advisory Board Ordinance.
2. Integrate the goals/challenges discussed with the City Manager, Kurt Bressner.
3. Identify the problems/challenges from the Principal's Round Table.
4. Select the goals of the board for the next year.
5. Set the criteria for the action plan.
See the attached notes for the items discussed.
After discussion, the board agreed that the process had produced priorities. Members took
responsibility to prepare action plans related to the priorities and will bring them to the next
meeting for discussion.
The next meeting is scheduled for Saturday, August 17, at 9 a,m., in the Library Program
Room. .~

· Contacting the Greater Boynton Beach Chamber, real estate
or other community groups for the purpose of implementing
programs
Coordinatinq with local police department to improve safety
for students before, durinq and after school.
· Principals identified this as a need at the round table
· C.Fisher & J. Livergood (public works) have started working
on this issue.
