WHEREAS, the Municipal Personnel Officer of the City of
Boynton Beach, Florida, has heretofore conducted a periodic
review of the existing pay scale for employees of said munici-
pality and has recommended certain amendments as hereinafter
provided; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has reviewed said proposed
amendments and has approved them without modification; and
WHEREAS, after thorough review of such proposed amendments,
the City Council deems that the enactment and adoption of same
is in the best interests of efficient administration of the
municipal personnel system;
NOW~ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1: The pay plan for the municipal employees of
the City of Boynton Beach, Florida/be and is hereby amended
by providing for amendments to the classifications and pay
grades as follows:

Department with the necessary evidentiary documents shall be
Veterans Administration course and who furnishes the Personnel
Section 2: Any employee who is enrolled in a State approved
eligible for a half-step increase at the end of six months only
if he or she is still currently and validly enrolled in that
same course.
.Section 3: All employees affected by these changes shall
have their pay steps realigned so that their present pay will
not be affected.
Section. 4:
The foregoing amendments shall be implemented
by the City Manager and become effective on the / Sr day of
