V~ereas, the Town Commission of ~he Town of Boynton,
Florida, deems it necessary and advisable for the peace,
health and safety of the inhabitants of the said Town, smd
the general welfare thereof, that certain land within said
Town should be acquired by the Town for the purpose of pro-
viding suitable public parks, playgrounds and a place for
the construction of public buildings for said Town, and
~ereas, it is deemed advisable that the following
described lots, pieces or parcels of land are the most
suitable for said improvements, and are necessary for
public purposes, to-wit:
Lots three (3), four (4), five ($), six (8),
seven (7), and eight (8), block five ($),
Roberts' Addition to the Town of Boynton,
Florida.
Therefore Be It Ordained by the Town Commission of
the Town of ~oynton, ~'lorida, as follows:
That the Town Commission of the Tov~ of Boynton,
Florida, does hereby deem i~ necessary and advisable for
the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants of said
Town, and the general welfare thereof, that lots three
(Z), four (~), five (~), six (6), seven (7) and eight (8),
block five (8), Roberts' Addition to the Town of ~oynton,
Florida be, and the same are hereby declared necessary
for the following public purposes, to-wit: For land upon
which to construct public buildings for said To~'~, and
for land upon which to provide for parks and playgrounds
for said T~wn.
That the Town Commission of the Town of Boynton,
Florida, be, and they are hereby authorized and instructed
to purchase the ~>ove described property for such sums and
on such terms as they may deem advisable. 2~at in case
said lands cannot be purchased on suitable terms and for
a suitable price, that they b~ condemned for the use of
the Town as provided by law.
This Ordinance having been read in full at a
meeting of the Town Commission of tile Town of Boynton,
Florida, held on the 23rd day of October, 19~4, was finally
adopted on its final reading at a regular meeting of said
Town~ Commission, held on ~e 4th day of l~ovember, 19S~,
and a copy hereof, posted at the door of the Town Hall.
