O#14ORDINANCE NO. 14.
Fire Limit.
Sec. 1. The following described territory situated
in the Town of Boynton, Florida, is hereby designated as
the Fire Limit of said Town:
Beginning at the corner of Dixie Highway nd Ocean
Ave and e×tending North, South, East and West two blocks
from said corner.
Sec. 3. Within said Fire Limit, only buildings
constructed of brick, brick veneering, tile, concrete
or stone, with roofs of slate, metallic substance, or
substances, or other fire-proof material, shall be
erected, except as hereinafter provided in this Ordinance.
Sec. 3. The Town Commission may grant a permit to
erect a wooden building within the Fire Limit, upon con-
dition that it shall have a roof of tin or other fire-
proof material, and that it shall be provided with such
protecting apparatus as sh.all be deemed necessary by the
Town Commission for the safety of the inhabitants of the
Town and for the prevention of fires.
Sec. 4. Any person violating any of the provisions
of this Ordinance shall be fined not exceeding Two hun-
dred dollars, or imprisoned not exceeding thirty days, or
sha~_l be both fined and imprisoned.
The above Ordinance No. 14, having been read in full
at a ~eeting of the Town Commission of the Town of Boynton,
Florida, held on the 4th day of October A. D. 19~l, was
adopted and passed at a Regular ~ieeting of said Com~ission
held on the 18th day of October A. D. 1921, and a copy
thereof posted at the front door of the Town Hall at
Boyntc~, Florist.a, on the 19th day of October A. D. 1921.
