Building and Building Permits.
Sec. 1. Any person, firm or corporation, desiring to
construct, enlarge, alter or repair any building in this
Town, shall make written application to the Town Commission,
giving in detail the plans and specifications of the pro- :
posed building, enlargement, alteration or repairs, stating
fully the materials to be used, the approximate cost of the
entire job, the time within which the job is to be completed,
and the location of the building. This application shall be
considered by the Commission at its next regular meeting,
and if it is in accordance with the Ordinances of this Town
with reference to the matters therein specified, it shall
be approved by the Town Co~.~ission, and the Town Clerk shall
issue a building permit, granting the applicant permission
to construct, enlarge, alter or repair the building de-
scribed in the application in the manner specified. If said
application does not conform to the Ordinances of this Town,
the same shall be denied by the Town Commission, and no per-
mit for the same shall be issued. In case of emergency a
special meeting of the Town Commission shall be called to
consider any such application.
Sec. ~. No person, firm or corporation, shall con-
struct, enlarge, <er or repair any building in this Town,
without making written application to the Tov~ Commission
therefor and securing a building permit from the Town Clerk
for the Said construction, enlargement, alteration, or re-
pair of said building, before any construction work on said
job shall be begun.
Sec. 3. Any per~on, firm or corporation violating
the preceding section shall be subject to a fine not ex-
ceeding Two Hundred Dollars, or imprisoned not exceeding
thirty days, or both fined and imprisoned.
The above Ordinance No. 1Z having been read in full
at a Meeting of the Town Commission of the Town of Boynton,
Florida, held on the ~th day of October A. D. 1921, was
adopted and passed at a Regular M~eting of said Commission
held on the 18th day of October A. D. 1921, and a copy
~thereof posted at the front door of the Town Hall at
BoYnton, Florida, on the 19th day of October A. D. 1921.
