A Special Meeting of the Doard of Commission~rs of
t~e Town of Hoynton, Florida, was held at the TownHall
of the Town of Boynt:~n, Florida, on Tuesday evening, August
l'0th, 1926, at 7:50 o'clock P. M.
Present:

The Meeting was called for the purpose of hearing
complaints on the equality of the Assessment on i{eal
and Personal Property for levying of Town Taxes for
the Year 1926.
The following persons appeared before the Boerd
of Equalization;-.
Horace Van i~eter, representing the Estate of
W. 0. Mitchell, investigated the assessment on the
Somth 4~0' of Government Lot 5, in Section £7, and
found same to be satisfa~torY. He also investiga,tod
the assessment on the S165' of Govt. Lot ~, in Section
15, and found same to be satisfactory. He also investigated
the assessment oon B. W. ~itchells Addition to GulX Stream
Estates in Section ~, Twp. 46, R. 4~, and requested the
0ommis~ion the grant, him further time to consider .this
assessment ·
The 0ommission informed ~r. Van I~{eter that they
~mld remain in session from day to day until August 17th, 19~6~
would give everybody ample tine to enter their c c~plaints.
Mrs. Ida Cram,- investigated the assessment on lots
"lY,13,14,28,29,39,40,and 41, 'in O. S. Shepard's Addition, in
Section 15 and found same to be satisfactory.
William Menzel, investigated the assessment on lot 4
, Block 3, lots 1 and 2, block 8, in 1~. Roberts Addition.
and Lots 5 and 6, block 6, in Original Town of Boynton,
and found same to be satisfactory.
Oscar Magnuson, investigated the assessment on Lots
?, 8, 13, and 14, block 4, Original Town of Boynton,
and found same to be satisfactory.
A. H. Bechtel, investigated the assessment on Lots
23, and 24, Shepard and Funks Addition, and found same
, to be satisfactory.
J. MaoXay, .investigated the assessment on ~,ots
10, 11, 12, block A, Original Town of Boynton, and found
,ams to 'be satisfactory. Mr. Mac~ay also investigated
the assessment on property assess in the name of the
Wilder 0o., Lot 1, block 4, Sawyer's Addition and
· property assesse~[ in the name of Sanford Duncan, Lot
1,~,~. block 15,. ~awyer'S Addition and Lot 7 and 8, block
9, Original Town of Boynton, assessed in the na~e of
.. E. Coon and foand all assessments to be satisfactory.
0. R. Winchester, investigated Lot 24, Parker
and found same to be satisfactory.
A. 0. Shepard, investigated Lots 2,4,~,8,9,10,16,17,18,
