A Special Meeting of the Board of Commissioners
of th~ Town of Boynton, Florida, was held at the Town Hall
of th,~ Town of Boynton, Florida, Friday Evening, October
21st, ~\. D. 192V, at V:30 o'clock P. M.
Present: R. 0. Myers, Mayor,
Harry Benson,Vice-Mayor
E. L. Winchester,Town Clerk
The above constituting the entire Board of Town
Commissioners of the Town of Boynton, Florida.
In addition to the Board. of Town Commissioners,
the ~'ollowing were also present: Town Engineer, Kenyon
Ridff.e, Sanitary Inspector, J. ~- Tomkinson, also the
foll,~wing property owners: James McKay, George E. Coon,
A. C. Shepard, Oscar Magnuson, and Mrs. Minnie Petrie.
Upon motion made by Commissioner Benson, seconded
by C~m~issioner Winchester, and duly carried, the following
res~lution was unanimously adopted:
~,~HEREAS, the Town Commissioners, of the Town
of ~ovnton, Florida% did at a meeting of the Town Commissioners
of ~e Town of Boynton, Florida, held on the 20th day of
September, A. D. 1927, fixed Friday the 21st day of October
A. i!'. 192~, at ?:~O.o'clock P. M. as the date and hour and
the Town P~Lll of the Town of Boynton, Florida, as the place
to ~ear complaints and equalize assessments for sanitary
sew.~r, and storm sewer construction, and'
WHEREAS, this meeting is held for the purpose
as ~bove specified, the following property owners appeared
before the Board of Tan Commissioners and discussed
their various assessments on sanitary and storm sewer
const~ction.
Mr. George E. Coon complained that there was
no connection made from the sewer line which is on the
north side of Ocean Avenue to the north property line
of his lot, which is Lot 6, Block 15, SaWyerts Addition,
in Section 28.
Upon motion made by Commissioser Benson, seconded
by Commissioner Myers, and duly carried, the Town Clerk
was authorized to make a notation in the assessment book
opposite the assessment for sanitary sewers~assessed
against Lot 6, Block 15, Sawyer~s Addition in Section 28,
stating that in the event that N~. Coon desired to make
use of the sanitary sewer with an outlet serving Lot 6,
Block 18, Sawyer's Addition, that this service line would
be b~ilt without any additional cost to Mr. George E. Coon,
from the north line of Lot 6, Block l§, Sawye~s Addition,
to the sewer t~nmk line, which is located on the north
line of Ocean Avenue.
M~. A. C. Shepard complained that he was assessed
for the depth of Lot 2, Boynton Center and also was assessed
for the depth of Lot 8, Boynton Center instead of the front-
age on each of these two lots.
Upon motion made by Commissioner Benson, seconded
by Commissioner Winchester, and duly carried, the Clerk was
directed and authorized to correct the assessment on Lot 2,
Boynton Center and assess only for seventy-five (75') front
feet instead of one hundred fifteen feet ~llS').
