REGUZAR MEETING OF FEBRUARY 1, 1927 .
A Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners
of the Town of Boynton, Florida, was held at the Tovm Hal!
of the Town of Boynton, Florida on Tuesday Evening, February
1, A. D. 1927, at 7:30 P. I~.

the said Town of Boynton, Florida, entitled: "I~egistration and
Elections" be, and the same hereby is, amended to read and be
in words and figures as follows:
Section 1. The Town Clerk o£ the Town of Boynton, Palm
Beach County, Florida, shall keep a P~egistration Book, in which
Shal'_ be recorded the names, addresses and ages let the time
of registration) of al! persons qualified to vote in any elec-
tion held in and for the said Town of Boynton, l~lorida; and'no

Section 6. The Town Commission sbail prepare and
cause to be printed the official ballot for each reg-u!~r and
special election of the Town, nominations may be made by the
filing of a petition signed by at least five (5) registered
'voters of the Town, or by a certificate signed by the ?hairman
or Secretary of any mass m.:eting, held within the Tcu'n, at

tion. Electors shall not be confined to the names of candi-
dates printed or typew~'itten upon the off~cis! ba?~ot, but
may'erase such names and substitute 'names of other candidates
to be written upon the ba!'ots by the electors, non~ but t%e
[ficial ballot shall be used. Typewritten forms for ballots
may be used as well as printed fornm.

Section 7. In order for a person to be an e!egtor
qualified to vote in any elec'tion held in and for the ssid
To'~:n of Boynton, Palm Beach County, Florida, be o? she shall,
in addition to being registered Rs hereinabove specified, have
paid., on or beofre fifteen days prior to the date on which
such election shall be held, his or her poll or capitation
· taxes for two years next preceding in ~the year in which such
election is held; and must have a receipt for such.pol? or
capitation tax, or the books or records of the Tax Collector
or ?e~disterer of Palm Beach County, Florida, shall show that
such poll or capitation tax has herein provided bas been paid;
and only' such persons who have complied with this provision
of this ordinance sha~_~ be deemed qualified to vote in an~-
e!ecti:~n ~e]d in and for the said ?own of Boynton, F!oriSa;
provided, that no person sha!], be prevented from votin~ on
accou~:t of not having so paid a poll tax, for ar4-? year '~vhi~b.

Section 9. Every person who is a qualified voter

in elections where qualifications are otherwise prescribed by
