WHEREAS, MICHAEL J. STROMICK, has recently replaced
JAMES A. ERWIN, as the duly appointed and acting Chief of the Municipal
Police Deparlment of the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, and is
thereby, pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 185 of the Florida Statutes,
Secretary of the Board of Trustees of the Municipal Police Officers Retire-
ment Trust Fund of said City; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed advisable to officially designate said
official to subject position and to empower him to execute the duties and
powers prescribed for said position;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
1. That MICHAEL J. STROMICK is hereby designated as
Secretary of the Board of Trustees of the Municipal Police Officers Retire-
ment Trust Fund of the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, and he is
thereby authorized and empowered, together with JAMES J. MAHONEY,
as Mayor of said City and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of said Trust
Fund to sign and issue checks, drafts, withdrawal vouchers or other instru-
ments necessary to negotiate funds constituting a part of the Municipal Police
Officers' Retirement Fund of said City, now on deposit in the First Bank of
Boynton Beach, Florida; Boynton Beach First National Bank, First F~.'de~ffgi'.
Savings and Loan Association of Delray Beach, Florida; and First Federal
Savings and Loan Association of Lake Worth, Florida, or any other authorize.
depository hereafter designated for t he handling of such funds, and the above
members of said Board are further authorized to perform any and all other
business and execute any and all instruments relalive said Fund, in accordant
with their duties as more particularly established in Chapter 185 of the
Florida Statutes. ..
2. This Resolution is intended to supersede and rescind
the provisions of Resolution No. 65-B of lhe CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
FLORIDA, with relation lo powers therein granled JAMES A. ERWIN as
Chief of Police of said City.
3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately.
