03-06-61b RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Section 20 of the Charter of the CITY OF
BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, provides that the City Council shall, by
resolution, fix lhe salaries of all officers and employees of the municipalit)
other than members of the City Council and Mayor; and
WHEREAS, the City has recently employed two additional
personnel whose salaries have not been heretofore fixed by resolution, to
wit: A Recreation Director and a Superintendent of Public Works;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED by the City Council
of the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, as follows:
That the salary of ZELL TAYLOR, heretofore appointed
Superintendent of Public Works, is hereby fixed at $7,000. 00 per annum,
payable bi-weekly, and that the salary of GEORGE JOHNSON, heretofore
appointed as: Recreation Director, is hereby fixed at $5, 300.00 per annum,
payable bi-weekly, with the terms of employment of said officers to be at
the pleasure of the City Council.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 6th day of March, A. D. 1961.
