01-07-57AR E80LUT I ON WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, did during its regular meeting held the 17th day of December, 1956, adopt a Resolution finding it necessary for public interest, that certain streets, boulevards, avenues, lanes, alleys, parkways and other public highways located with- in the limits of the said City be improved by being built, repaired, resurfaced and rebuilt, and did by said Resolution according to law, authorize and direct the Superintendent of Public Works to prepare an estimated cost for repair, rebuild- ing, re-surfacing and construction of said streets as described in the said Resolution, now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE. CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS: 1. That the following streets, roads, boulevards, avenues, lanes, alleys, narkways and other public highways as hereinafter described shall be constructed and/or rebuilt to a spedfications as required by the laws of the City of Boynton Beach, said property abutting the following streets and alleys: Description Number of Feet Railroad Avenue in Arden Park N. The City Council shall set ss q Board to hear objections from abutting property holders on Friday January 25th at the hour of 11:30 at the City Hall Building, Boynton Beach, Florida. 1,836.23 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to assess each of the abutting property holders located and abutting the above described street, and to assess such orooerty holders on a front foot basis charging said owner his proportionated share as divided by the improvement cost above estimated. The property holder shall have the privilege of paying the entire assessment at any time within ninety (90) days from date of lien, and fail- ing to do so the Clerk shall, for three (3) consecutive years assess the said property owner as a lien against the property, a special assessment tax divided into three (3) installments, payable as other ad valorem taxes are paid with interest at the rate of 8% per annum on the unpaid balance. ~. The Clerk shall orepare an assessment roll showing the number of feet of each lot or parcel of land fronting or abutting uoon the improvements and the amount of assessment as to each, and each lot shall be proportionately so assessed. The assessment roll shall be on file in the office of the City Cl~k. UNANIMOUSLY passed and adopted this 7th day of January, 19~7.
