Election of Mayor RES 0LUTI ON (A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE ELECTION OF MAYOR, APRIL 10, 1944) BE IT RESOLVED that notice is hereby given by the Oity Conmnissioners of the City of Boy~ton Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida, that a General Election of said City will be held at the City Hall, on the Dixie Highway, in the City of Doynton Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida, between the hours of Eight o'clock A.M. (Eastern War Time) and Sunset of the Tenth (10th) day of April, A. D. 1944, for the pur- pose of electing an encumbent to the office of MAYOR, for a term of Three (3) years. All nominations for said office shall be ~uade at least Twenty (20) days prior to the date of said election. Nominat- ing petitions or certificates shall be accompanied by a fil- ing fee of Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00). Candidates may be voted for on the ballot without being nominated. Notice is further given that Clara B. ~Vhite , Thomas C. Foster and Eunice E'. Ma~nuson are hereby appointed~ Inspectors and Eula Lunsfor~ as Clerk of said Election and are o~dered to report at'the City Hall on the day and time aforesaid to hold said election. BE ITFURTHER RESOLVED that the Registration Book of the City of Boynton Beach,Palm Beach County, Florida., be opened for the Registration of all qualified electors of the City of Loynton Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida, at the City Hall on the First (lst) day of March, A.D. 1944. All persons desiring to register for the General Election called for the Tenth (10th) day of April, A. D. 1944 should register on or before March Thirtieth ($0th) A.
