A RESOLOTIO~ BY THE CO~'&~ISSION AND ~YOR
OF THE TO?~ OF EOYNTON, FL(_~RIDA, AUTHORIZING
AND DIRECTING THAT CERTAIN SHORTAGES OF FUNDS
NOT ACCOUNTED FOR TO THE TO¥;N OF EOY[.~TON [Y
WILLIAM P. SOMERVIILE DURING HIS TER~ AS
DEPUTY CLERtt, TAX COLLECTOR AND TREASURER OF
SAID TONIC, 5E PAID.
'~iEREAS, William P. Somerville, as Tax Collector
of the To~'~ of Loynton, on i¥~arch 19,1~28, issued one
cortain Tax Receipt over his signature as Tax Collector
of said Town, which said Tax Receipt was issued to the Gulf
Stream Realty Comgany in the principal sum of One Hundred
and Five (108.00) Dollars, representing payment of taxes
for the year 1927 on the hereinafter described property
which said Tax Receipt carries the serial number 100~
and purports to be received, for taxes for the year ~-~P. 7 on
the following described property to-wit:
S~ of SW% of NE~ --East of Ry. less that part
beginning at the SE corner of the SE-~ of the
~', of the NEL~ of Section ~, thence running northerly
on the East line of the S~;~ of the N~-~ of Section
4, a distance of 210 feet, West 210 feet,South P. lO
feet, East ZIO ~eet to point of beginning. Section
WHEREAS, it was ascertained on February 2nd 1~2
that the proceeds receipted for in the above described Tax
Receipt was never accounted for to th~ Town of Eoynton,
Florida, by its Tax Collector or the Treasure~ thereof.
%~EREAS, further the Co~nission of said Town
of Eoynton, through their Town Clerk and Tax Collector and
Town Auditor, has made diligent search and is unable to
find where such collection of taxes has been reported
and accounted for on tho books of said municipality and
have failed to find where saim municipality received the
proceems th~rofrom.
NOW THEREFORE LE IT RESOLVED, by the Commission
of the Town of £o.¥nton, Florida, in re~-~ular special
session sitting, that the Clerk ~f said Town be and he hereby
is authorized to noti£y the Bondsmen of the said William P.
Somerville of the shortage, notifing them that said Town
is holding them liable therefore and demanding the pay-
dent of th~ One Hundred and Five (~105.00) Dollars,
representing the proceeds from thc abo~c described Tax
Receipt and further that said Clerk mail copy of this
resolution therewith and that this resolution shall be
deemed notice and demand for payment by the said R~yal
Indenn-~ity Company of the State of New York to the Town
of boynton.
Passed i~ regular special sossion sitting by the
authority foresaid on this the 6th day of ~ebruary 19S2.

Beach County, Florida, do hereby certify thzt the resolution
hereto attached was duly adopted at a Special Lueeting
of the kosrd of Tow~: Co~:~missioners of the Town of Loynton
Florida., held on the 6th d~y of February, A.D. 19~2.

6th day of February, A.D. 1932.
