Florida Power and LightRESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND THE TOWN CLERK OF AND ON BEHALF OF THE TOWN OF BOYNTON, FLORIDA~ TO ENTER INT0 AND EXECUTE WITH FLORIDA POWER & LIGHT 80MPANY A SUPPLEMENTARY AGREEMENT WHEEE- BY THE FLORIDA POWER & LIGHT COMPANY AT THE REQUEST OF THE TOWN OF BOYNTON WILL PERMIT TO REMAIN DISCONT!NIJED UNTIL JANUAHY !ST, 1930, I~ENTY-SEVEN (27) TWO HUNDRED FIFTY (250) CANDLE POWER "WHITE WAY" STREET LIGHTS HEHETOFORE TEMPORARILY DISCONTINUED FROM JULY 1ST, 1928 TO NOV- EMBER 30TH, 1928 INCLUSIVE IN ACCORDANCE WITH A LETTER AGREEMENT D%.TED JULY 16TH~ 1928 BY AND BETWEEN THE TOWN OF BOYNTON, FLORIDA AND FLORIDA P0~TER & LIGHT COMPANY %~EREAS, there is in effect between the Town and the Company a Street Lighting Agreement, dated the 2nd day of March, 1926, covering the supply and purchase of "all electric energy and service necessary for the operation of the street lighting system within the corporate limits of thc Town of Boynton, Florida, which may now or hereafter be installed, the minimum requirements for which shall at all times equal that of the present installation as set out in Article III, Section 2, hereof, plus that of any additional installation required by the Consumer", and WHEREAS, on the 16th day of July, 1928, the Town and the Company entered into a Letter Agreement by the provisions of which Twenty-seven (2V) two hundred fifty (250) candlepower "White l~y" street lights of the Town's street lighting system operated under the said Street Lighting Agreement, dated the 2nd day of March, 1926, were temporarily discontinued as of July 1st, 1928, for a period of five (5) months thereafter until and including November 30, 1928, ar~ by tbs provisions of which the term of the said Street Lighting Agreement, dated the 2nd day of March, 1926, was extended for an additional year, and WHEREAS9 by the provisions of the said Letter Agree- ment the Company retained the right to restore the said discontinued street lights to service on December lst9 1928, without further notice, and thereafter to bill the Town for the same under the terms of the said Street Lighting Agreement, dated the 2nd day of March, 1928, and WHEREAS~ the Town to obtain relief from some of its present financial burdens has requested the Company to permit the said twenty-seven (27) two hundred fifty (280) candlepower '~White Way" street lights to remain temporarily discontinued, and WHEREAS, the Company is willing to comply with the Town's request as provided in the Supplementary Agreement hereinafter set forth, NOW~ THEREFORE ~ BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN C0~MI$SION OF THE TOWN OF B0¥NTON, FLORIDA: That the Mayor and the Town Clerk of the Town of Boynton, Florida, be and they hereby are authorized to enter into and execute for and on behalf of the Town of Boynton a Supplementary Agreement with Florida Power & Light Company in form, words and figures as follows:
