Bond Issue(CONCERNING BOND ISSUED UNTO THE
TOWN OF BOYNTON, PALM BEACH COUh~Y,
FLORIDA IN THE YEAR 192V, BY THE
TREASURER OF SAID TOWN.)
~'~h~EKEAS, heretofore and on the 29th day of October,
A.' D., 192V, the Treasurer of the Town of Boynton, in Palm
Beach County, Florida, William P. Somerville, did make, execute
and deliver unto the said Town of Boyn~on his bond in the penal
sum of Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($800,000.00) payable
to the said Town of Boynton and conditioned tt~at he, the said
Treasurer, would faithfully perform the duties of Treasurer
with respect to an issue of bonds in the principal sum of Five
Hundred T~ousand Dollars ($800,000.00). And,
WHEREAS, there were, as sureties upon such bond,
H. T. Holloway, Fred G. Benson, Carl M. Jenson, J. B. Meredith,
and N. M. We ems~ and,
WHEREAS, the said William P. Somerville, as Treasurer
as aforesaid, has a surety bond conditioned for the faithful
performance of his duties as Treasurer, ~he amount of which
exceeds all unsold bonds of said issue; and,
WHEREAS, the conditions of s~ch bond of $800,000.00
have been fully performed by the Treasurer;
NOW THEREFORE, Be ~t Resolved that such bond of
$800,000.00 conditioned for the faithful performance by the
said William P. Somerville as Treasurer of the duties of
Treasurer with respect to such bond issue be, and the same
hereby is, cancelled and sureties thereon, H. T. Hotloway,
Fred G. Benson, Carl M. Jensen, J. B. Meredith, and N. M. Weems,
and each of them, be, and they hereby are, released from any
other or further liability thereon from and after the date of
the pass,ge and adoption of this resolution.
Be It Further Resolved that the principal named in
such bond, William P. Somerville, be and he hereby is, released
from any other or further liability upon such bond from and
after the date of the passage and adoption of this resolution.
Commissioner E. L. Winchester seconded the motion
for the adoption of the above and foregoing resolution and upon
being put to a vote ~he same was unanimously adopted.
I, E. L. Winchester, duly qualified and active
Town Clerk of the Town of Boynton, in Palm Beach County,
~rida, do hereby certify ~hat the above is a true and correct
copy of a Resolution which was duly adopted at a Regular Meet-
ing of the Board of Town Commissioners, of the Town of Boynton,
in Palm Beach County, Florida, held on TueSday evening,
August 21st, 1928.
